This wine has been made from 70+ year old vines and only the best grapes are chosen. The wine is matured in French and American oak barrels for 16 months and then a further 8 months in the bottle before release. It provides an intense red cherry aroma and on the palate the taste is full bodied with very sweet fine tannins that provide excellent sharpness. There is also an exquisite aftertaste that brings a refreshing quality to this wine.

Absolutely love this wine! Not much of a red wine drinker but this really hits the spot. Whether you're relaxing in front of the TV or enjoying a
juicy steak this is a wine for all occasions.

Was completely thunder struck, worth every penny and can see why it has received decanter awards, had it with a heavy roast beef dinner complemented
it perfectly, recommended to all those who like a bold red wine.
