Château de Virecourt (Appellation of Bordeaux Supérieur Contrôlée) is produced in a small vineyard of only 6 hectares, straddling the villages of La Riviere, St Germain La Riviere and Villegouge, 34 km from Bordeaux.  The Château is owned by Xavier Chassagnoux.  Four generations of winegrowers in the family have passed onto Xavier the skills he uses to manage the vineyard and create top quality wines.
