This family run estate of 15 hectares based in Anjou has been cultivating its vineyard to become 100% organic. A vineyard in France can only be certified as organic, after three continuous years of strict controls by the Qualite de France. The family Chauvin applied for a certification of organic in 2005, but their organic farming methods have been a part of the vineyard for a long time, using no pesticides, herbidcides, insecticides and chemical additives.
