Domaine Pierre Chauvin – Anjou This family run estate of 15 hectares based in Anjou has been cultivating its vineyard to become 100% organic.A vineyard in France can only be certified as organic, after three continuous years of strict controls by the Qualite de France. The family Chauvin applied for a certification of organic in 2005, but their organic farming methods have been a part of the vineyard for a long time, using no pesticides, herbidcides, insecticides and chemical additives. Domaine De La Tuffiere – Anjou The vineyard of Domaine De La Tuffiere was established in the 14th century by the local monks and has been; managed by Jean Claude and Daniele Coignard since 1972 and owned by them from 1989 – 2006 when they passed on their work to their daughter Clarisse and son Frederic. Its 24 hectares are located in the Beaugeois area of the Loire Valley, between Angers and Saumur. The estate is on a south facing slope exposing the vines to fantastic sunlight and wind offering the best quality grapes year on year. This family run estate has the perfect vista of the famous fort of Peñafiel overlooking their vineyard. The vines were hand planted one by one in accordance with the ancient artisan’s tradition and were acquired when Teodoro Arenales and Antonio Polo founded Bodegas Hijos de Antonio Polo in 1999. The first wine produced was a young oak in 1999, and the following year a vintage 1999 Crianza was awarded a Gold Medal. The 18 hectares of vineyards are predominately Tempranillo and Tinto Fino, both of which are typical of the region Ribera del Duero. “Bodegas Vizar Creates Moments to Share”. Bodegas Vizar, is owned by the Zarzuela family and is located on 80 hectares off the banks of the Rio Duero in a wine growing area known as the “Mila de Oro”, “The Golden Mile” an area blessed with soil, climate and natural conditions that are ideal for growing grapes. The winery is modern, meticulously clean and state of the art technology. It is, run by highly talented and experienced team of professionals who are dedicated to producing the best possible wines and committed to deeply entrenched and respected traditions in one of the top wine growing districts of the world. Wine symbolizes fraternity and friendship, a concept deeply rooted in their Hispanic culture.

In the heart of the Loire Valley, the Louis de Grenellle House develops fine sparkling wines: Cremant de Loire, Saumur Rose and Saumur Brut. Established in 1859 (the same year Charles Darwin released his Origin of Species book!), it remains the last independent and family owned sparkling wine house! While the Louis de Grenelle family winery draws from 21st century values of consistent production and dynamic commercial marketing, tradition values still apply in creating an authentic vintage. With that constant guiding force, the Cellar Master assembles with great care and subtlety three noble types of vines, Chenin, Chardonnay and Cabernet Franc. In this way the products have been nurtured for one and a half centuries in the silence and darkness of the limestone caves. Located near Saumur, the vineyard of the Château de la Durandière is concentrated inside and around the walls of the Château. The vineyard of 38 hectares is planted with Chenin, Chardonnay and Cabernet Franc grapes. Always at the top of technology and to improve quality, the air-conditioned wine warehouse is equipped with a pneumatic press and stainless steel vats, just some of the state of the art equipment used to create their brilliant and delicious wines. Louis de Grenelle uses its ancestral wine making techniques but always uses any advances of technology, oenology and new science at the forefront of its wine making The Andres mountains over look this very small family run estate including, two willow trees, a lake, three dogs, four paths, ten hectares of beautiful vines, hard working staff, good friends and a family with their feet firmly on the ground looking up at the sky. This family run vineyard was started 3 generations ago and have since built this state of the art winery, where the philosophy behind the wine making can only be described as designer! Bodegas Trapezio’s unique modern blending styles and creavity and innovative wine making has produced some excellent wines that define each vines character. Bodegas Rejadorada was founded in the DO Toro in 1999, the Bodega is situated in an historical winery from the 16th Century in the centre of the historical town Toro, San Román de Hornija (Valladolid). The harsh continental climate, the sandstone, clay and limestone soil offer the vines along the River Duero with ideal conditions for the production of high quality wines since before Roman times. With a dedicated positive attitude towards wine making and all the right ingredients Bodegas Rejadoada have set a very high standard and objective too themselves to continue to produce limited and exclusive high quality red wines adhering and respecting to the region Toro’s characteristics and personality

Since acquiring Bodegas Antaño in 1988 he has brought their wines to fame by implementing the highest quality levels. Intense restoration work at the end of the 80’s dug up some very old underground galleries and tunnels from the 15th and 16th centuries filled with over 500 years of history.
Stone and brick, a characteristic of Mudejar legacy, make up a labyrinth of 25 metres in depth and over 3 km in area. Bodegas Antaño is a genuine museum setting, the restored galleries where temperatures and humidity remain constant all year around, become the perfect setting for wines to be laid to rest. The Duero River’s influence, its soils and this area’s unique climate outline the characteristics of Bodegas Antaño wines. In fact, these wines, of the Rueda Appellation
of Origin, have been moving onto the top places in the consumer rankings. Bodegas Antaño white wines are made at a low temperature to preserve the potential aromas of the native grape varieties.
Among these wines Alta Plata Verdejo is one of the best. A truly elegant white wine with a good acid bite, made from 100% Verdejo, which is a unique grape variety of this land and provides wines with a great backbone and excellent blend of floral aromas.
Equally remarkable are the barrel-fermented Alta Plata:
Alta Plata Rueda, a blend of Verdejo and Viura that develops into a fleshy, fresh wine with fruit aromas, and Alta Plata Sauvignon Blanc that is increasingly recognized at international tastings. Indeed Bodegas Antaño has successfully produced high quality wines that improve year by year and has been an award-winner on many occasions at Prestigious International Wine Competitions.
